How are these Exploded Designs made?
These are internals of actual equipment. We buy items, usually via eBay or Craigslist, and we take them apart. Sometimes this requires special tools. Then we photograph the pieces and meticulously render them in Adobe Illustrator. Troy Paiva and Garry Booth are two of the skilled artists who have 'exploded' designs for us.

Where are you located?
We are based in Signal Hill, California. The Exploded Store is a collaboration between two brothers who have come together with a common interest in Exploded Designs. Dion Briggs has been spearheading the recent exploded designs, and Brian Jaramillo brings some exploded designs that he commissioned for Oddica three years ago.

What kinds of shirts are these?
These shirts are 100 percent cotton fine jersey shirts from American Apparel. The guys style is 2001 and the girls style is 2102. American Apparel shirts are softer than the standard Hanes or Fruit of the Loom shirts, and cost a bit more, but we've found they are a great fit for most people. Check the AA site for sizing information.

What is soft-hand printing?
The screenprints we produce are softer to the touch than normal Plastisol screenprinting. We use either a soft additive called a Chino base, or we use water-based printing, which does not have the plasticky feel of Plastisol.

How soon do orders ship?
We normally ship orders quick, same day, five days a week. If your order is not going to ship same day, we'll let you know. Please allow 4-5 days for shipping during our first week, the week of August 24.

What is your return policy?
We will take back your unwashed T-shirts for an exchange or refund for 30 days after you receive them. Email dionbriggs@gmail.com for any customer service inquries. We like to help.

How do your posters ship?
Posters ship rolled in durable, thick tubes, 4 inches x 20 inches. You can flatten the posters after you receive with a few phone books.

I don't see a Girls option on a specific shirt.
We've found that certain designs appeal more to guys than girls. We can still probably make a girls shirt for you, just let us know what you'd like and we will try to accommodate. dionbriggs@gmail.com
